I started doing CrossFit in my garage in 2006.  At the time, there were no CrossFit gyms in the area, so my friends and I started collecting equipment.  I’m excited that the word is finally out, and that I can help people get to a more fit place in their lives.

I was not necessarily athletic growing up, however, I was on the track team in grade school and was involved in the dance club and pom poms in high school.  During college, I was a gym rat.  But I soon realized how much I hated it primarily because I never saw any improvement in my strength or the way I looked or felt.  I started rock climbing in 2002, which I loved and still love because it offered me the kind of physical and mental challenge I needed.  But it wasn’t until I started CrossFit in 2009 that I realized how un-fit I truly was.  I was hooked immediately and went for my certification the following year.  I’ve been training clients ever since and I love what I do.  I am always learning new things and ideas, on my own, through my clients and from other trainers.  And I hope to bring everything I learn to whomever wants to learn from me.

I grew up involved in youth sports including football and wrestling and started lifting weights in my 20’s to help with thowing kegs on a Beer truck. Kept up the gym rat lifestyle until I started martial arts training when I was 32. This is when I was introduced to Crossfit, drank the kool aid and have been preaching the gospel ever since. I went to my level 1 training in 2012 and am very excited to work with Adam and Jennifer promoting such a great sport.

As a kid I was never really sport oriented. I played the usual pee wee baseball and later in life took Tae Kwon Do and played some softball and started running. Then in 2010 my friend Adam invited me to come workout with him in his garage. I accepted the invitation and never looked back. Crossft has and continues to challenge me not only physically but mentally and I plan on continuing this journey of fitness to the very end. I received my Crossfit Level 1 Trainers certificate this year and look forward to working with Adam, Jennifer and Shaun in promoting health and fitness to those who are willing to push themselves further than they have ever done before.
